City of Kawartha lakes protocols: Phase 2
The City has put some protocols in place to keep our kids and community safe. We will not tolerate anyone not abiding by the rules, and will disallow participation in our programs if we find that our skaters or their families are not abiding by the rules.
Some main points:
- Skaters and spectators must wear masks at all times when they are not on the ice surface.
- Only 1 spectator per participant. This means that siblings and other parents/guardians will be allowed into the facility. If a parent requires an accommodation to this protocol, they must reach out to the WSC for approval beforehand.
- No outside food or drink will be allowed into the facility aside from a personal water bottle.
Please select the appropriate level for your skater to learn more about the new Program Requirements & Delivery Standards that we will be following come September.
Want to know more about the processes that will be put in place when your skater gets to the rink? Please see the below health screening questionnaire, and Skate Ontario Waiver. Also, check out the YouTube video that shows the processes.
