About Claira

Claira Yates started participating in the CanSkate program at Woodville Skating Club when she was eight years old. She fell in love with the sport and has been a part of the club ever since. Claira currently competes in Star 5 freeskate and artistic.

​

Claira was a PA for Woodville's CanSkate program for many years and is now excited to be a fully certified CanSkate coach! Claira is also working on being certified at the regional level as well. Her goals as a coach are to share the love of skating and contribute to a positive learning environment for all skaters and families at the rink.

She is looking forward to another year of coaching with the Woodville Skating Club!

Claira is currently in grade 12 at I.E. Weldon Secondary School.
