About Emerson

Emerson began figure skating at the age of three, inspired by her mother’s love of the sport. She has been a proud member of the Woodville Skating Club since 2022, where she discovered her passion for coaching while serving as a Program Assistant with the CanSkate program.

​

As a Regionally Certified Coach, Emerson works with skaters in the CanSkate, STAR 1–3, and STAR 4+ programs. She is committed to creating a positive, encouraging environment that helps skaters build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and achieve their individual goals. Alongside coaching, Emerson continues to pursue her own skating journey.

Emerson is a graduate of Georgian College, where she earned a diploma in Business. She plans to continue her education by pursuing a degree in Sport Management and aspires to build a career with Skate Ontario, combining her passion for skating with her interest in sport development and athlete success.
